SEO Tips to Get Your Website to the Top of Search Engines - PART ONE
When it comes to the success of digital marketing and finding new customers via the web, keyword optimisation is one of the most important tools you can bet on. Keyword optimisation or keyword research is the act of researching, analysing and selecting the best word or concept of great significance to your product, services or campaign in order to target and drive traffic from search engines such as Google to your website and other digital platforms.
Getting your website or blog on the first page of search engines can be a daunting task if you do not understand the fundamentals of optimisation. Although this tutorial is not guaranteeing you the first place in major search engines, it does point out what one needs to do to be in the Search Engine Optimisation game.
It is much easier than you think and this article is to guide, help and provide you with the basic and key for successful search engine optimisation:
Step 1. Choose the right keywords
It is tough to be the best at everything and that includes Keyword Optimisation. The first step of reaching the top of search results is identifying the right keywords. It can either be a single or multiple words or entire phrases. As you might already be aware of, most searches on the internet are made in the form of a question. Therefore, before you start writing down the keywords, you need to decide which keywords you want to focus on. These are the words people would type into the search engines in order to find your page, blog, website or product.
It is very essential that the word you choose as the keyword is broad enough for lot of people to search for on the internet, but narrow enough that you have a decent chance of getting a high search rank for it on the search engines and results.
For example, the word "shoe" is way too general. However, "Where can I find cheap shoes online" is a pretty good one. Similarly, the word "Europe" is way too general and Wiki sites will normally dominate these top spots. So, "the best holiday destination in Europe" is a much better phrase to focus on.
Here are my top tips for choosing the right Keywords:
Start with customers
Think about who your target audience or customers are. What are they likely to type into the search bar when they are looking for answers where your services can help them? Why not ask existing customers what they would search for?
Weigh up the competition
Although it is important for you to choose words that many of your target audience might be typing into search engines, they should not be words that bigger companies with the most muscles and bigger budget will compete for.
Use Google tools
Guess not only. Google has several good tools which can aid you find what is popular to search.
On Google Trends, a public web facility based on Google Search engine, shows how often a particular search-term is entered relative to the total search-volume across various regions of the world, and in various languages including a list of popular searches. You can also enter keywords and see how popular they are, compared with other phrases and ideas on similar terms - in order to choose the one that most are looking for.
You can also find keywords using Google's ad tool AdWords. You do not necessary have to advertise, you can just create an account and select using the "Keyword Planner" under the "Tools" menu.
Step 2. Customise Your Content
Once you have successfully chosen your keywords, there are a few other things you need to do in order get your site ranked high on search engines. One of such things is content creation. You have to create and distribute relevant and valuable content (such as speech, writing, photograph or any of the various arts) that attracts and engages your well-defined target audience. Content marketing helps us to attract new customers and build loyalty with existing customers.
For existing customers, this could also mean they take part of the relevant content that creates additional sales by learning more about your offer, and is more expensive products/ services than they have done previously. The following are few tips to consider during content creation:
Working actively with texts
Use keywords in the title and preamble of all the pages. Also, include the keywords in the body, the much higher up it is in the text, the better it is for your ranking.
However, be careful not to use your keywords too much. Google may interpret your site as a nonsense page which is only trying to attract traffic and you go down in search results. A rule of thumb is that your content should feel natural and interesting. Which of course is also important for your visitors.
Do not forget your photos!
Rename even your photos with your relevant keywords. This will make it possible for search engines index them and you can get hit even in image search. If you have the opportunity to enter an alternative text for each image, do not let go of such an opportunity.
Step 3. Get visits and links from others
The most important thing for search engines is to deliver good and relevant results, remember that's their primary business. Therefore, priority is given to websites that Search engines deems others rate high or think is good. An example is sites with links and many visitors who stay long to engage with the site. Therefore, this is really important to:
Make sure to get a lot of visits to the page
Ask family and friends to visit your website. Get the link or URL out there as often as possible, for example, you make a video, put it up on YouTube and the links there - but incorporate all the content on your site and link to it there.
Ask others to link to your site
Ask friends, business partners or customers to link to you, perhaps in exchange for a link back or share interesting tips in your field and let others get put up pieces of contents with a link to you.
Share your site on social media
Sharing your website and contents on social media (not forgetting Google+ Google for obvious reasons) is extremely important. It can provide visits to the website, more traffic, attention and higher rankings
Get others to share your site and contents on social media, using "share" buttons. AddThis is a one of the free tools allows you to instantly share or bookmark pages with one easy-to-use tool. AddThis can also get statistics on how much your content is shared.

Exploring New Niches - How to Find the Niche That Fits You
Every day, you likely do something that nobody has thought of, that would make an incredibly good business idea. Now about that teabag kit?
Our standard of living changes with each day, and there are people out there who would tell you that I'm crazy for mixing my own tea blends... Maybe. But I like my own tea blends and it's a fun, aromatic thing to do. Can you imagine, bowls of fresh dried herbs sitting on the counter and a bowl in front of you - waiting for you to add the exact right amounts of all those dried herbs to design your own tea? Imagine sitting down for a cup of tea and knowing exactly what flavors are in it, because you blended it, especially for yourself. It is one of the guilty pleasures I enjoy pretty much every day.
Whatever your guilty pleasure is, do you think you could make a business out of that? Do you think someone else in this big wide world might be doing the same exact thing and wishing there were an easier way to get the job done.
When an entrepreneur finds the perfect industry, goes into business and makes a profit, EVERYONE wins. Think Facebook. Think Sage Hill Farms. Think Woozy. These all started out as a person with an idea. The scope of the idea may not have been very big to begin with, but it was an idea that ignited a flame and burned until the business was going.
There are a few steps you can take to put you in the driver's seat of your own business:
1. Brainstorm ideas. Write them down. Use the full notebook if you have to, but brainstorm ideas until you have an idea that resonates with you and your 'team'. Be sure to run your ideas past each other.
2. Market research. Investigate the possible market for your idea and see what turns up. Your idea may eat dirt and die in the research and still be an amazing release when you set it off in the world wide market. Don't give up until you KNOW it's a loser.
3. Know your risk basis. You have to know what you're risking to set this business loose in the world. Know what you're willing to give up for this.
4. Know what you expect. Set up your own expectations. Be realistic, but don't set those expectations too low. You want to accomplish something here. WHAT is your dream. Know what it is and don't stop until you get there.
5. Do it. Go for the gold. Get out there and put the view up on the wall, post it in the hallways, make this happen. Don't stop until you reach the success summit.
That's how it's done... Have an idea.

Quick Tips To Build Your Brand Using Instagram
Social media is the new medium for brand building. Companies that are using this as a platform for their brand's voice are gaining more visibility and quickly. This is why social networks should be one of the core tools being used for your online reputation management. Local SEO companies are already using it as part of their services for branding businesses. If you don't know where to start, consider consulting with one.
Why use Instagram?
There are various social media networks out there that you can use as a platform for your company. Why choose one over another? The first step is to determine whether it's where your audience hangs out a lot. Next, you have to identify whether or not you're able to create relevant content for that particular site. This is where some businesses fall off, because they lack creativity.
Instagram is a visual platform, so it requires content in the form of video and photos. There are clever ways you can make this type of content match your business and audience. This is also where hiring one of the best local SEO companies can come in handy. Their experts can conjure up ways to create content that will draw in your particular audience.
Now, what's the reason for using Instagram? For one, it has over 600 million users around the world. Surely, you have a small percentage of this pie that's made up of your target customer. According to other stats, over 300 million people are using the platform on a daily basis.
The brands that have already started using this platform are witnessing high amounts of user engagement. Numbers from Forrester Research show a 2.3 percent per-follower engagement rate. This is much higher than Facebook's 0.2 percent Twitter's 0.02 percent rates.
Steps to branding yourself on Instagram
Hopefully, this helped capture your attention and desire to give Instagram a try. What have you got to lose anyway? You can hire an SEO company to design a strategy to ensure your launch on this network is impressive.
Here's what you need to do to get your business noticed on Instagram:
- Create your posts using your desktop. Why? Because it's faster and easier. Plus, this is where all of your scheduling tools will be, which makes it easier to implement.
- Repost content published by others. One study done by Crowdtap shows that people trust user-generated content more. Also, user-generated posts are 50 percent more trustworthy and 35 percent more memorable. You should add your own caption, so your essence is implemented into the post.
- Consider your gallery's theme. This will depend on the type of industry you're in and the focus of your social media strategy. It can be a combination of business photos, topic-related photos, user-generated photos and so on.
- Set aside time to do each task to prevent multi-tasking. Research done by a professor from NYU shows that multi-tasking reduces your focus and productivity. This is because your brain has to consistently switch back and forth from one task to the other. Schedule time for posting and scheduling and another time for engaging and commenting on posts.
- Develop content in advance. This can help free up your time to focus on engaging with content and users. You can also hire a local SEO company that can do all the creation and publishing for you.
- Use the same filters and edits for most or all of your posts to provide consistency.
It's very important to have an Instagram strategy designed before you jump onto the network. Consider working together with an expert to ensure you're taking all the right steps going forward. You can find local SEO companies that offer online reputation management and social media marketing services.

Amazon.com - How to make money using it
How to make money on Amazon
Amazon.com is the premiere online site for buying all kinds of products. If you want to learn how to make money on amazon, this is the right place. Amazon.com carries brand name electronics, books, home & garden supplies, automotive, music downloads, and much more. Amazon.com is truly your one-stop shopping website. It is rivaled by competitor sites such as eBay and Buy.com.
Amazon.com is not an auction site like eBay. This is one of the reasons Amazon is superior to eBay. Shoppers searching for a product can purchase their product immediately unlike on eBay where many items that are listed are in an auction style format.
How to make money on Amazon: Sell anything you want
One of the nice things about Amazon.com is you can sell literally anything you want! In this regards, it is very similar to eBay and this is one reason to learn how to make money on Amazon. Amazon.com does have some distinct advantages. The biggest advantage is their fees.
eBay has a fee for just about everything. eBay has listing fees, final value fees, shipping fees, design fees, and many more. If you are selling products on eBay, it is likely that the seller has to raise their price just to make a profit on their item. This was true for myself before I switched from eBay to Amazon. Amazon.com does have a fee. Amazon.com's only fee is their final value fee. This fee is assessed after the item is sold. Amazon.com just like eBay will take a percentage of your sale to cover their costs. Sellers on Amazon.com can offer their products at a lower cost because of the smaller fee schedule.
Shipping is another reason Amazon.com is preferred over eBay. Many of the items purchased on Amazon.com come with FREE shipping. Sellers on eBay pass shipping costs onto their customers. Sometimes, the shipping costs on eBay are inflated to compensate for the high number of fees. I was guilty for increasing my shipping costs to make up for the money I lost in eBay fees.
This is just one idea on how to make money on amazon. If you have a product to sell, then Amazon.com is the place to sell it. Amazon.com is a platform that has millions of visitors a day. Could you afford to not have over a million customer visit your store a day?
How to make money on amazon: Join the associates program
This next section on how to make money on Amazon is about Amazon.com's Associates program. Amazon.com's associates program is an affiliate program. What is an affiliate program? To keep things simple, an affiliate program is program that allows other companies, or individuals (like you), to market a company's products or services for a commission fee per item sold. Basically, you are going to promote products that are being sold on Amazon.com and get paid for driving customers to Amazon who make a purchase.
How do you do you join the Amazon associates program?
It is relatively easy to do. First you need to sign up for an Associates account on Amazon.com. Find a product to promote (one that people want or need but isn't highly competitive). Promote through a varieties of ways like PPC, article marketing, SEO, blogging, classified ads, and squidoo marketing. The customers then purchase the product through your affiliate link and then you get paid.
Learning how to make money on amazon is worth the investment. You can market any product at any time and make money while you are doing other things. They even have software programs available to help with choosing the right product to market, where to market the product, and how to market the product. If you are serious about becoming an Amazon Associate, and want to learn how to make money on amazon these software programs will streamline the research process. I know they both have helped me tremendously.

How to make money with eBay, the real way!
Want to know how to make money with eBay? My wife is into collectibles. When she said a few years ago that she wanted to quit her job and just do eBay, I thought she was nuts. I could envision eating tuna casserole every night for dinner. But she's actually done very well. She's a power seller. And with a few tips that I've given her about internet marketing in general, she continues to do well in this economy. Let's talk about how you can get started to make money with eBay, too!
Honestly, the first thing I would recommend anyone to do is to get their feet well. I mean if you want to learn how to make money with eBay, you just need to start selling some stuff and get the hang of how eBay works. And, it doesn't hurt to beef up your feedback rating either.
So, go through the house and pick out some "junk". Don't worry about this too much. It's absolutely amazing what people will buy.
Now, list those items to sell and see what happens.
When you list anything on eBay, it's better if you keep it simple. Overstate the imperfections of what you're selling a little. For instance, if we were selling a collectible magazine that had a tear in the front cover, I would overemphasize the tear. Not dwell on it, but just make sure that the reader can't miss the fact that the magazine's got a tear. That in itself will go a long way to getting your buyer to trust you.
Now that you've sold a few items, you need to start thinking about where you're getting your inventory. If you want to go from just how to make money with eBay to how to build a real business on eBay, you'll need a steady source of stuff to sell. With eBay's fees continuing to rise, it's harder and harder to just get some dropshipping company to supply your inventory. You need to be more creative here. Some eBayers have done very well getting local craftspeople and manufacturers to let them sell their inventory exclusively on eBay.
Finally, you'll want to start thinking about getting more eyeballs on your eBay listings. Here's where I was able to help my wife a lot. You see, I'm an internet marketer. One thing I was able to do that helped my wife a lot was make YouTube style videos and link these back to your eBay listings. We've also created a blog for her that's now getting a lot of traffic. Doing this online marketing helped my wife make money on eBay on a more consistent basis.

How to make money online as an eBay affiliate
If you are new to internet marketing, you should learn how to make money online from eBay. If you have not heard of eBay than you must have just landed from another planet, since it is the world's biggest and best known online auction site.
There are many different ways of making money online, ranging from affiliate marketing to direct sales of your own product. Affiliate marketing is a method of making money by selling products belonging to other people. You basically earn a commission every time you send a prospect to somebody's sales page that results in a sale. There are subtle differences between affiliate marketing and acting as a salesperson for someone else, but the end result is the same: if somebody buys then you earn money.
However, you can also earn affiliate money, not by finding prospects that purchase a product, but that sign up for service. There are many online membership companies that can make a lot of money from people who register for their service, and eBay is one of the biggest. eBay is an internet auction site that allows you to sell products and to purchase them. Many eBay sellers are ordinary people selling items that they no longer have a use for. You could sell an old CD, jewelery, books and anything you think you can get money for.
Others are professionals who use eBay as a store front, and eBay even provides them with an online shop from which they can advertise and sell their goods. While you can make money by purchasing items, and reselling them back at a higher price than you paid for them, there are other ways in which to make money from eBay. When you sell a product, eBay charges you a fee for the insertion of your item into their auction and also a final valuation fee, based on the eventual selling price.
The insertion fee varies according to the features you want included in your listing, such as pictures, bold text and so on. If you know how to go about it, you can earn between 50% and 75% of these fees through purchases made by buyers that you have sent to eBay to make the purchase. This is called being an eBay affiliate, and many people use this means of making money as their full time income.
There are actually two ways in which you can make money as an eBay affiliate: by referring buyers to specific auctions from which they make a purchase, and also by persuading people to register with eBay. You have to do nothing to earn that money except advertise eBay, and what could be easier than advertising the biggest online auction company in the world?
In fact it is not quite as easy as you might believe, since you are not the only person doing it. For best results you will need to have your own website, and not only that but a different website or web page for every product or keyword that you are promoting. More on that later. However, if you can achieve that, then consider the benefits.
Your web page could contain details of all current eBay auctions on your keyword, for example SatNav or GPS systems. These are selling from over $150 to around $1000 per item, and if you advertise these auctions on your web page, then you can get a good proportion of the eBay fees for each listing you are instrumental in selling. Not only that, but thousands are registering with eBay daily, and you get $25 to $35 for each person that registers from your website.
Many people interested in purchasing a new GPS navigation system at a fraction of the normal retail price will not be members of eBay, and will have to register first. You can make it easy for them to do so, and even customize the link so that they are taken to the appropriate registration page for their country.
So now you have two sources of income: purchases and registrations. How about more? You can add some AdSense blocks to your web pages as an additional income stream. Google will place adverts on your page that are relevant to the product you are promoting. Thus, Google will add a few GPS Google AdWords adverts (the adverts on the right hand side of a Google search results page) at places on the page selected by you. You get paid every time a visitor clicks on the ad. They don't have to buy, just click. How cool is that? You can also place some Amazon adverts relating to the topic on your page, and get commission every time a visitor purchases from Amazon.
However, all of this involves a degree of skill that most people entering the arena of internet marketing for the first time do not have. You might think that there should be some way in which this could be made easier. After all, there must be people making money from eBay in this way that are fairly new to online business.
In fact you would be right, and there are easier ways than you having to build a new website manually for every product. There are companies online offering software to do this for you. If you find such software, then the whole process, including placing the eBay adverts, the AdSense and the Amazon ads among others, can be carried out with the click of a button.
Being an eBay affiliate is one of the easiest ways to make money online: you don't need a product, and if you have the right software, you don't need knowledge. Even a child could do it. That's the way to make money online. Easy and simple!

12 kinds of antique products you can sell through online auctions
All kinds of antiques, from dolls to furnitureare certainly great sellers. But most of us are not antique dealers and may not know or care enough about them. So here are twelve things that sell like crazy that you can profit from using online auctions. (The list is not in priority order.)
1. Coins
1. Coins
A lot of people are coin collectors. You can buy on the Internet all kinds of foreign coins; pesos from Mexico, and coins from Brazil. Now we have the Euro, coins in the old money can only increase in value as they become a rarity.
These are very cheap coins. Some people have packaged them, like one hundred coins of the world, and they have sold at auction for £60 and £70. Many of those coins, like the Mexican peso and Brazilian one peso coin is less than a penny.
Also, Indian Head pennies and old silver, and even some current silver that's not that old, what's called junk silver, but it is still silver, is very popular. Some people bid this stuff up far more than what you can buy it for as base metal. It's crazy, but that's how it is.
2. Pocket and hunting knives
Both old and new pocket and hunting knives are very popular items. This category also includes swords.
It's not for everyone, but if you are interested or have some knowledge of survival skills using knives, or find the history of swords fascinating these items do well online.
3. Watches and Rings
People are into some unusual watches and rings. Some of the turquoise watches and jewellery from New Mexico, was originally popular twenty years ago. But then it went out of fashion and nobody would wear it. Now, once again, it is popular.
If you can buy that jewellery at a good price, you can double and even triple your money.
4. Music boxes
Music boxes are very collectible and highly popular. They are relatively easy to ship to customers. A visit to any junk shop, car boot sale, antiques mall or market will usually yield at least one music box.
5. Holiday Season Items
All kinds of unusual items linked to Easter, Christmas and Halloween are extremely popular. People have bid items in this category way up.
6. Native American Indian Arts and Crafts
Anything to do with Indian arts and crafts is big business especially in the USA, UK, Germany and Belgium. Old arrowheads are popular, blankets, saddles, beadwork, all sorts of things connected with the Native American nations.
7. Religious Items
It doesn't matter whether the religious items are Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu or any other religion. They are all very popular.
In the Middle East they have "worry beads." I had an Arab friend many years ago that gave me some. They don't cost much money. I've seen them bid up to £25.
8. Rocks and Fossils
Rocks and fossils are very popular, perhaps because they are so collectible - they take little room up but a collection can be startling and interesting.
9. Bedspreads and Quilts
The star quilts of the North American Indians are very popular as well as the varied quilts made by the Victorians. Still a popular craft today, even modern handmade bedspreads and quilts can fetch a good price.
10. Perfumes and Colognes
This includes perfumes and colognes for both men and women. Especially name brands at a discount where people can bid for it, but get it for lower than the £50 it might normally sell for in a big department store.
11. Regional Items
Regional items have increased in popularity. People, who live in Arizona and New Mexico, California, Texas, can slip past the border and pick up Mexican arts and crafts extremely cheap, and yet double and triple their money on eBay.
If you don't live in the States, but take a holiday in Mexico or South America, you may still find this lucrative. This category also covers tourist items bought anywhere in the world; such as African beadwork, dolls in the costume of the country, china from seaside towns in the British Isles, handbags from Egypt, it's endless. As an aside, there is a vast, thriving market in British seaside trivia from pre-1970s.
12. Autographs
If you know, or have, anything that was signed by a famous person; a rock star, movie stars, presidents, whatever, they are bidding these up big time on eBay and the other auction sites. Some collectors' are also keen to bid for a famous person's item of clothing or lock of hair.
So, that's just a summary of twelve categories that sell well through Internet auctions.
Of course you can sell thousands of other items. All sorts of books sell, for instance, there is no question about that. I've sold books and I've had three or four different companies buy books from me and resell them on eBay, Yahoo and other auction sites. However, you must either buy or print books cheap enough that you can ask for big enough discounts.
For example, a £25 book might get auctioned off at £6 or £7. Now if you bought it for £2, or printed it for £2 it shouldn't be a problem making a steady profit. The profit margin is big enough for you to walk away with cash in your pocket.

Proven method earns $200+ a day using Fiverr -WITHOUT ever writing a word!
What about this for an easy way of making money online! What do you think?
Free Affiliate Marketing ideas
Are you looking for some inspiration for Free Affiliate Marketing Ideas? In this article, I will show you and list some ideas that hopefully will have you thinking abstractly for your Free Affiliate Marketing Ideas. If you have a website currently, and are trying to find a way to advertise it and where to go next, we are here to help!
This is a top 3 list. It is intended to get you thinking "outside the box" for Free Affiliate Marketing Ideas for your website.
Now, if you are ready, let's dive right in!
Free Affiliate Marketing Idea #1 - Facebook
I think everyone can agree that Facebook has some of the most views per day as any website on the net. However, not only are the page views astronomical, people that use Facebook are engaged with Facebook. They are for more apt to click on a link to learn more, than, say, a random pop-up advertisement. You can engage your audience on Facebook with thoughtful posts, which leads to a great opportunity for Free Affiliate Marketing! People are for more willing to try something if they know the person, and trust the person, that they are trying or buying from. This is just one Free Affiliate Marketing Idea. Let's take a look at some more.
#2 Twitter
Coming in at least a close second for page views and engagement is Twitter. This Free Marketing Affiliate Idea is as easy as Facebook, and if used correctly, can garnish just as many views, and potential sales, or more, as Facebook. Twitter has an inherent benefit that Facebook is just catching on to Hashtags. If you can creatively intertwine your Affiliate product with a trending Hashtag, then you can potentially reach hundreds, thousands, or more, potential customers. An example, during the election, you could have used the trending #Election2016 hashtag to expand your base. But, you must be careful with this. You want your message and link relevant to the hashtags that you use. No one likes a spammer. Especially Twitterers.
#3 Craigslist
The power of Craigslist cannot be underestimated. This free classified site is estimated to have 20 billion page views... per month. Now, obviously, your advertisements will probably not receive a fraction of those views. However, those are 20 billion potential customers - depending on what they are looking for. That makes Craigslist one of the best Free Affiliate Marketing Ideas. This is another forum to use caution to prevent banning. If you spam, you will get banned. Make sure that you keep your ads relevant to the category that you post to.
In conclusion
The above three items are to me the "Big Three" for Free Affiliate Marketing Ideas. The all are relevant sites that between them receive billions of views per month. They are, obviously, free. The all have active and engaged users. Present them with a problem that they have and that you can fix, and voila! Traffic on demand. Just remember, as with all things marketing, be real. Don't spam. People can see through the spam.
