Ten Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started… Part One

Over the next few days I'm going to be sharing a few insights into what I've learnt about Internet Marketing

And what I really wish I knew in advance!

1. You can only get so far on your own

Today, we teach new students about outsourcing before they really need to know it...

And that's because without understanding or using outsourcing you will end up doing everything yourself..

In a way, doing everything yourself, for a little while, is ok. You get to learn a lot…

HOWEVER , outsourcing, as a concept will save you so much time.

It also introduces you to scaling and leverage, because if you’re not doing it then it means I can time to devote elsewhere...

Like on income producing activities.

2. Work with like minded people

This is a BIG one...

Because who you surround yourself with will have an enormous impact on your thoughts, your mindset and income!

As an example, if you only surround yourself with millionaires it would be inevitable that you would become a millionaire.

No matter what your background or starting point...

Their thoughts, the winning attitude and mindset would have an effect... and you would win!

Conversely, if you surround yourself with people struggling for money you get dragged down.

You don't take risks. You do things not to lose, rather than doing them to win!

Which is why you should spend as much time as possible with successful, positive people.

3. 20% learning time, 80% implementation

When I first started my business I spent too much time learning. I thought I need to know more and I kept thinking this...

Whereas in fact if you learn TOO MUCH, you stall. You reach a point of information overload, and nothing happens!

I see it all too often - people buying products, only to buy the next shiny object and then the next one.

It gets you nowhere - FAST!

Which is why the system teaches students to learn - implement, learn and then implement.

Start with the basics, get it done. Learn some more, add that...

Even a fast track where you can put the learning in the background!

Do You Have Driving Ambition

My son Harvey had his mate over to the house last night. Simon is a little older than him and nearly old enough to drive.

He told me he was going to pass his Driving Test so he could borrow his Dad's car.

I thought it was interesting that he didn't say...

"I'm going to TRY passing my test"

or

"I'm going to SEE IF I CAN pass my test"

or

"I'm going to HAVE A GO at passing my test"

In fact, he had clearly decided that passing his test was absolutely going to happen. Maybe not the first time, but pass it he will!

It was like that for me and I'm pretty sure it was like that for you!

I love it when that happens.

When you REALLY want something... you just COMMIT. Whatever obstacles or bumps in the road, you keep going until you get what you want.

It’s the same for anything you want…

If you REALLY want to create a laptop lifestyle... earn money in your sleep and enjoy the money and time freedom you deserve…

How To “Sell” 24/7... 365 Days A Year… Without The Work!

Yesterday evening we went to see our son play basketball.

They were playing in a tournament with lots of schools, so it was quick fire matches, on the court and then off again...

It was great to see so many parents supporting their kids.

DO NOT Tell Anyone You Are Doing This!

Isn’t it interesting to see how people react to things.

I once stood in a pub with my friends and was telling them about the profit from some shares I had sold.

Within minutes the conversation had been changed to how

their brother, Uncle, Father, wife, friend had lost money trading shares...

Amazing right?

Here I am showing them profit - something working...

Yet, they must convince themselves it doesn't work!

Get back to your comfort zone!!

I've made this mistake a few times, but generally I don't do

this amongst friends or in certain circles.

Where success doesn't go down very well!!

Have you ever told your friends or family that you're starting

Work with someone that's been there and done it. Ask them

the questions that you have... and only them.

DO NOT allow any negativity or questions from those that

don't understand...

Most people have no idea that you can work from home all

day and in 30 mins online make more than most people earn in a month. No clue!

But you do. You know it's possible... and you also know that

So How Does This System Work?

So here's the thing... The most common question that I get asked is...

"How does this work?"

And I'll be honest, it's not as easy as a lot of people make out!
